The mapping of UK SME management and leadership development provision provides an important foundation for the Council’s work in this area. It is too easy
to develop policy in a vacuum and inadvertently to duplicate existing initiatives. This mapping exercise will help ensure that the Council is informed about current
state of play when it makes its recommendations for SMEs. This report provides an anatomy of SME management and leadership development in the UK based on an
analysis of nineteen interviews with senior representatives of national level providers.
